    5/17 - 5/18

Monday afternoon, after teaching Spanish, Kelsi and I got some more joists up. We also adjusted and re-adjusted for square. It was difficult to do with this deck because of the two cut outs for the stairs. Basically we treated it as 3 separate decks. This took quite a while.

Yesterday 5/18 I had to go pick up another 2x10x16' for the south rim joist. We cut off the ends of the joists and after squaring them up one final time, began to put the hurricane clips in with abandon. progress is really coming along. I can see myself finishing this up by the end of this weekend or soon thereafter. here's some pictures of what it looks like now.
